Hi I’m Emma, a Yoga Instructor (and Chartered Accountant) passionate about alleviating pain and calming the mind through movement.
Almost 15 years ago, whilst at school, I was introduced to yoga by my mom as a fun hobby we could do together. Later, I began a more regular yoga practice due to sporting injuries, and back pain associated with long busy hours at a corporate office job.
Whilst I initially sought out yoga to ease physical pain, it has also had a positive impact on my mental health, helping me to deal with stress and anxiety that we all experience in our day to day lives. Mindful moving trains the nervous system to become more resilient, giving it more capacity to come back to balance during stressful times.
Keen to share the benefits of yoga with others, I decided to train as a teacher. I am certified and insured by Yoga Alliance Professionals and trained in emergency first aid.
I like to teach relaxed fun classes, moving slowly through poses to build strength, whilst connecting the breath with that movement, to calm the mind.
Testimonials
“I love Emma’s classes. Emma clearly breaks down each of the movements, and her instructions are easy to follow. She gives lots of different options for everyone in the class so that you can always find a way to make the movement or pose work for you and your body. Her relaxation exercises at the end are my favourite!”

“Having two small children and a busy working life, it is difficult to find time for myself. Emma teaches me 1:1 yoga whilst my 2 year old takes her afternoon nap and has adapted the classes to slowly build strength in my abdominal muscles following my pregnancies.”

“I did not enjoy relaxing and found it difficult to switch off, I also experience lower back discomfort due to long hours driving. Emma worked with me to find a comfortable supported position then guided me through various mindfulness techniques. I leave Emma’s classes feeling refreshed and calm.”
